We are pleased to announce the launch of the brand new Simply Baby website!
We have been loyal users of the Magento platform for the past 15 years but have seen more and more nursery retailers moving over to Shopify in recent years, which piqued our interest and led to a lot of research into the benefits of switching ourselves.
What we found was an incredibly secure framework with the ability to build a much quicker and less bulky website for our customers to use.
However, what actually led us to make the difficult decision to migrate to a new website platform was the Shopify Checkout and Unified payment service called ShopPay - this means that our customers can now shop wherever they want within the Shopify Retailer network without having to create a new account on every website.
All you need to do is enter your email address on the checkout page of another Shopify website and you will see a pop up box that asks for a code that will be sent to you automatically via text message - once you enter this code, all of your details will be magically populated on the other retailers checkout.
As Shopify handle the payments themselves, only their servers will process your payment details and that means that you are no longer having to trust that every individual website that you visit has the highest levels of payment security encryption.
Anyway, enough about website platforms and more of what this now means for our customers.
Firstly, and most importantly, having Shopify handle the payments themselves means that we can now offer much quicker delivery times than we used to offer on our old website.
We now aim to delivery all 'In Stock' items within 3-7 working days instead of the 10-14 working days that we used to have to allow due to longer payment processing times.

We also now have a completely new Contact Us page with information and links to all of the different ways that you can get in touch with us, including a brand new Live Chat system that is linked directly to our website and that allows us to manage everything from within Shopify itself.
We have also created a brand new Price Match Promise page to make it easier for you to send us any price matches that you find when browsing the internet.
