Axkid Bigkid 2 Premium – A good choice for the older child when a rear-facing car seat is no longer an option

There are several reasons why Axkid Bigkid 2 Premium is a good option when a rear-facing car seat has become too small for your child. Axkid Bigkid 2 Premium is a forward facing seat approved from 15 to 36 kg with a high back that is comfortable to use up to 150 cm. It is therefore a perfect choice for the older child, who has reached Axkids‘ recommendation to go rear facing to 125 cm, and who has not yet reached the optimal height for the car’s three-point belt but still needs a car seat to travel in a car safely.

Axkid Bigkid 2 Premium is an update to our previous product Bigkid and comes with several improvements.

A flexible back length

Axkid Bigkid 2 Premium has 6 cm longer back than its predecessor and the back length can now be adjusted vertically in 9 different steps. This results in one of the longest back lengths on the market which not only ensures that Axkid Bigkid 2 Premium provides a perfect fit for your child’s height but also increases the safety of your child.

A safe belt positioning

The shoulder belt guide has been improved and a fourth point of contact for the three point belt ensures that the lap belt is in the correct position and does not risk to damage any soft parts by wrong positioning. A correct belt position should result in the hip belt lying above the hip bone and not over the stomach. The new belt positioning together with the included belt guide ensures an optimal and safe belt position when your child is riding in an Axkid Bigkid 2 Premium.

Side Impact Protection – ASIP

Axkid Bigkid 2 Premium comes with an improved side impact protection (ASIP). The side impact protection now has a fail-safe position, which means that you always equip the side impact protection correctly and thus ensures a correct installation which provides increased safety in the event of a collision from the side.

Axkid Bigkid 2 Premium is a spacious and comfortable seat that can be adjusted in 4 different reclining positions, depending on both age and length. The adjustment possibilities together with a new textile in stretch material ensure the comfort and fit of your child. Axkid Bigkid 2 Premium is also perfect as a travel chair as it is easy to move and install using ISOFIX and is equipped with carrying handles.

Returns:
We accept returns on orders within 14 days of delivery providing that they are unused and in the original packaging. Due to the nature of the products that we sell no returns are permitted on items once they have been assembled or have had labels removed.
